Curbside Crabfeed for TWO

The recent health concerns have ended the traditional "Crab Feeds" we all know and love for 2020. We are adapting and offering a whole meal, sealed in a professional kitchen and offered only "to go" with curbside pickup on April 11th, 2020.

The last day to order is Friday April 10h at 11:59 PM and promised our vendors final numbers by Saturday morning. Sorry, no same day orders.

FAQ

Q: What is included?

  • FRESH cracked crab for TWO (3 total crabs per order) Served Cold

  • Pasta for TWO with reheating instructions.

  • Garlic Bread for TWO.

  • Salad for TWO- Dressing on the side

  • Dessert for TWO

  • Your choice of TWO-Four Packs of Devil's Canyon Beer (Selected when you arrive). You can see your choices here: https://squareup.com/store/DevilsCanyon OR ONE bottle of Domenico’s Wine.

Q: Where is this happening?

  • Pickup is at Domenico’s Winery in San Carlos. Detailed pickup info is included in your online receipt.

Q: Can I order additional crab or order for just one person?

  • Sorry, no. In light of the health concerns, the meals are pre-packaged and sealed . As such, we are only doing meals for two and not doing add ons or customization.

Q: Where does the money go?

  • The Code 30 Foundation is hosting this fundraiser to support the local small businesses who have always supported us. As such, $3 goes to the Code 30 Foundation and $96 of every $99 dollar meal is put back into the hands of local small businesses. Specifically All Shores Seafood in San Bruno, Domenico’s Winery in San Carlos and Devil's Canyon Brewery in San Carlos. Unfortunately all of these companies have been hit hard this past month and all have experienced layoffs.

Q: Will this stay fresh for Easter (the next day)?

  • Absolutely! All food, including the crab is prepared the morning of the 11th and will make a great pre-packaged meal for a non-traditional Easter! We are tired of cooking too so order meals for everyone and deliver to your whole family.. practicing safe social distancing of course!

Q: What are you doing to keep this safe?

  • All meals are pre-purchased online and there are NO CASH SALES to avoid unnecessary contact.

  • Meals are delivered directly to your car, no need to exit your vehicle.

  • Although you never leave your vehicle, orders are reserved with a time slot to avoid congestion and minimize staff.

  • Meals are pre-packaged and sealed in a professional kitchen where all safety guidelines are strictly adhered to.

  • Even though our contact will be minimal, we will be exercising all cleaning and safety precautions including wearing sanitary gloves, using hand sanitizer and aprons.

Q: Can I order without beer or wine?

  • No. If you don't want beer or wine, let us know when you arrive and you can skip the beer selection but the price remains the same.

Q: If the Quarantine ends before the 11th, will this transition to a traditional crab feed?

  • No.

Q: Can you deliver?

  • No. As much as we would like to, we just can't make that work.

Q: I saw this earlier and the pickup location was at Devil's Canyon. Why did it move to Domenico's Winery?

  • The San Mateo County Health Department asked we move the pickup location to a restaurant instead of a brewery and we were happy to do so. The meals will be prepared at Domenico's brand new beautiful restaurant and picked up there too.

It has been 12 years since East Palo Alto Police Officer Rich May was murdered. Since that horrible day, local family and friends created a foundation in Rich’s name and built a turf field for youth sports in East Palo Alto. The Rich May Memorial Field has been a great success helping disadvantaged youth stay out of trouble and involved in sports. While the field is functional, there are still some construction pieces that need to be finished as well as management and maintenance of day to day use.Cost includes barbeque and open bar for beer and wine. (Hard alcohol available for purchase)
