It has been 12 years since East Palo Alto Police Officer Rich May was murdered. Since that horrible day, local family and friends created a foundation in Rich’s name and built a turf field for youth sports in East Palo Alto. The Rich May Memorial Field has been a great success helping disadvantaged youth stay out of trouble and involved in sports. While the field is functional, there are still some construction pieces that need to be finished as well as management and maintenance of day to day use.Cost includes barbeque and open bar for beer and wine.
